While most of us are still tucked up in bed, Kevin is already preparing another helping of quality soul music for listeners of Love Soul Radio London.
His Early Early Soul-cial, broadcasting Monday to Thursday from 6 am until 8 am, provides the perfect start to the day, with a wonderful selection of soul, funk and feel-good favourites.
But there's a little more to Kevin than meets the ear!
The 3 AM Club
You'll often hear DJs talking about the hours they spend preparing their shows, but Kevin takes that dedication to another level.
While most sensible people are fast asleep, Kevin can often be found up at 3 o'clock in the morning, carefully selecting his music, putting his playlist together and polishing his delivery.
It's that attention to detail that makes good radio sound effortless. Kevin understands that it's not simply about playing records; it's about creating something his listeners genuinely enjoy.
And let's face it, anyone prepared to get out of a warm bed at three in the morning in the name of soul music deserves a medal. Or at least a very large mug of coffee!

When Kevin isn't behind the microphone, he enjoys swapping the studio for the open road.
A keen campervan enthusiast, he loves heading off on camping holidays with his wife Liz and their faithful four-legged travelling companion, Fudge.
But there's another passion that keeps Kevin and Liz busy: soul music weekends and festivals.
The couple enjoy getting away together to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the music and share good times with fellow soul enthusiasts.
Whether it's a weekend surrounded by great music or a peaceful getaway in the campervan, Kevin certainly knows how to make the most of his downtime.
Although we suspect that even on holiday, he's never too far away from a decent soul tune!
