I didn’t start Love Soul Radio London because I wanted to own a radio station.

I started it because soul music shaped my life.

Some of my earliest memories are tied to songs — the kind that filled a room, changed the mood, and stayed with you long after the needle lifted. Soul wasn’t background noise in my world. It was emotion. It was storytelling. It was connection.

As I grew older, I noticed something.

The deeper records — the album cuts, the B-sides, the independent artists carrying the torch — weren’t getting the space they deserved. The music that meant something to people was being reduced to playlists and algorithms.

That never sat right with me.

Radio, to me, is personal. It’s a voice in the room. It’s a companion on a late drive. It’s someone introducing a song in a way that makes you hear it differently. I’ve always believed that when you combine thoughtful radio with timeless soul music, you create something powerful.

Love Soul Radio London was built from that belief.

Not for hype.
Not for trends.
But for preservation, passion and pride.

That’s why this exists.
